How about a photoshop contest to see who can come up with the most interesting "modification" to the NSX... doesnt have to be from this particular picture... I know this mod doesnt seem to be too practical... (I haven't put on the F1 style mirrors yet - It just got out of the "shop" ...heheh) this is what I did just in about 10 minutes:

PS... At 1st glance I thought the altered car was a Lambo.I've always said "chopping the top" of the NSX would look awesome!!

God damn, you guys are good!! Love the charcoal grey rims by NSX2000. The purple widebody by Electro is amazing as well. That's a keeper.

How long did these edits take you, on average. I'm not an experienced Photo-shopper, and so was just wondering.

Regards.

well the purple one was done by Chris W......I'm just hosting it on my server =)

The mirrorless NSX I did on the top only took me about 10 minutes... I didnt exactly care how it looked .. otherwise I would have spent more time on it =)

Anyone can re-modify these images and add stuff to them if they want... lets get creative!

This thing looks awesome, but it looks an awful lot like a diablo!

Electro,

Thanks for posting my photo and for the compliments.

NSXaholic,
The mods only took me about an hour. Like Electo said, it doesn't take long to remove things but the more time you spend on the details the better results you'll get. It's also tougher using a mouse to do detail work. If I'd had a drawing tablet it would have taken less time to complete.

This is a great topic.
Have fun with this one everyone.

In Photoshop 7.0 use the following path to create different effects with color:

Image--Adjustments--Color Balance or
Image--Adjustments--Hue/Saturation

It's very easy to create different effects simply by using the slider bars to increase/decrease color values. You can typically apply the adjustments to the entire image instead of having to select certain parts of the image.

One exception would be the front yellow turn signals. I wanted to clear out the corners so I simply selected the front headlights with the lasso tool and then decreased the saturation of yellow under Hue/Saturation. If I had applied the effect to the entire image the yellow lines in the road would have become white also.

There's really no end to the possibilites you can come up with and I certainly didn't have predetermined values for certain colors to what I wanted to create. Use your imagination and you'll have more fun that way.

By the way, the Clone Stamp Tool should be your best friend. If not.... make it be.

Hope this helps.
