Hottest NSX plaques and trophies

OK since we are now doing plaques/trophies on a yearly basis for the hottest NSX categories, I need to design something and wanted some help. Does anyone have any input? Can someone come up with a design that can be engraved? Is one thing preferred over the other? I don't want to make something that costs a thousand dollars. Lud has said he will pay for this so lets keep it reasonable, and don't forget there are multiple categories. I'm thinking plaque with an NSX silhouette, and something that says "Winner. NSXprime Hottest NSX" or something like that. Anyone know where I can find a nice NSX silhouette?

For the NSXCA Bay Area and Sacramento Chapters, we have had a couple of gatherings where we handed out trophies for the car shows. We purchased acrylic plaques that we had engraved. I can take some pics and post on this thread to give you an idea on the plaques we handed out. If you don't have a local hook up, let me know and I'll get a quote for you once the design is finalized.

Oh, and if you go that route I'd donate a piston and rod from my car. I guess it could be used for an "overall winner" since they're usually quite expensive. I have 6 but kind of want to make something with them someday.

I think a plaque is more for an accomplishment, trophy is more for a contest win, right? sduffass thats pretty generous of you...

I think a plaque is more versitile, most trophies end up in the attic..but everyone has plenty of wall space.....

Well I got 6 sitting in a box so it really doesn't matter to much if I have one less. Plus I don't know if I'll ever get around to designing something cool myself with them so why not.

While I do appreciate the very generous offer Sdufass has made, I think such a thing is too much for what we are doing. Let's save those pistons and plaques for someone that gave to a good cause, helped someone out in need, or did something a bit more noble than create a pretty NSX. This contest is more for fun and some recognition and it allows everyone here to participate.

Sdufass please save those parts. For now you get a table plaque and an SOS gift certificate if you win

I will start polling shortly. Its a lot of work sifting through and organizing the nominees.
