Hotel Recommendation in Tahoe or Sacramento

[NSX GT]

Any input on a good, clean place to stay in either Tahoe or Sac area. Will be in Soda Springs Snow park Jan 30th. Need to be in downtown Sac the next day.

Looking for something basic and clean like Marriott Residence Inn.

As long as you are not taking the NSX, I'd suggest the Holiday Inn Express - Convention Center at 728 16th St, in Downtown Sacramento. Basic, clean, inexpensive. A good place to stay for a night or two when you don't need a bunch of extra features.

If you don't have to stay in downtown Sacramento, I would recommend the Marriott Courtyard in Roseville near the Galleria Mall. There are many restaurants to choose from and its across the way from the Roseville Galleria Mall. If that isn't enough, there is an Original Pancake House aka "OPH" that is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

In fact, I may be there that same weekend, if that's the case, maybe we can hook up for dinner with some of the NSX crew in Sacramento.

We ended up in tribute road in downtown Sac marriot courtyard. Also stopped by Elk Grove Coney Island to help a friend move. There is a great Japanese restaurant satori. I'll need to head back there again soon with tools. My friend's brother has an extra NSX parting out
