Right rear wheel gets twice as hot to the point of burning your hand if you grab one of the spokes (seven spoke stock 02+ wheels)

got 2 cracked rims (spokes) if that means anything...

see attachment...

You say stock wheels but you're running aftermarket it looks like. In any case, almost has to be a dragging caliper on that side unless your aftermarket wheels don't fit right (adapter rings or spacers) and are actually wobbling on the hub but think you'd have to feel that from the car.

it looks like your lug nuts aren't going all the way up on the studs, is the hat on your rotor too deep causing an offset and stress?

Take the E-Brake OFF

That's just what I was thinking  . Reminds me of when I was working at a gas station (back when checking the oil and tires were part of the service) and a woman drives up in a car (don't remember the make) and she was complaining of slow acceleration and a burning smell. I did a cursory check of the car and found the rear tires/wheels so hot, I could not touch them without getting burned.

I asked her if the parking brake was released ( I was peeking in and looking at the instrument panel and saw the red "brake" light illuminated). She glanced down and saw the light, promptly released the brake and drove off without saying a word.

Thanks for the input guys...

car is on jack stands, E-brake off everything looks OK.
Puzzling to say the least...doesn't matter what wheel is on it, it gets very, very hot. back to the drawing board.

Again thanks for your input.

Bad bearing?

That was my first thought...but man how long until it seizes and and catches fire!!! I mean it seems that this has been an ongoing problem for OP.

I found an electrical plug, unplugged, one of four under the hood (right side green in color), looks like when I plugged it in the antilock light extinguished (after starting car)but later came on again, this also was while car was on jack stands no wheels on, & in 5 th gear 60 mph indicated, only seems like the rotor is HOT to the touch, very HOT left is hot but nothing to worry bout. Going to go test it out after plugging in electrical connector.

PS made nasty sound in and around the antilock components erea after I plugged in the connector. then quite, well... off to test...

I'll let u guys know...

If you are trying to start the car while on jack stands, turn off TCS... even then, the wheels don't like to spin freely since there is no resistance and no weight on them. :)
