horrible news!!!

Congrats on your sale Sean, from the pics it looked like a real keeper. Maybe someday you'll come back to the dark side? Was is someone local who bought it?

Nice... so the question is now... what will the replacement car be? LA-F?

Or Maybe a GT-R?

There are lots of possibilities... maybe when Honda gets off their rear we'll finally see a replacement for the NSX...

A prime lurker bought it. He's fairly local.

There are 2 contenders currently to replace it in my garage, but nothing will fill the hole in my heart.

What is horrible news for some is good news for others.

I am the one who bought Sean's car. It was certainly everything I had heard it was. A truly exceptional, well cared for and maintained and loved car.

As it turns out I am quite local. Up until a year ago I lived in London before moving south (30 km) to Port Stanley.

Believe it or not I am also a chiropractor with my practice being in London. Not only that, Sean and I both grew in the same city of Waterloo, went to the same senior public school and same high school but never knew each other (I have about 20 years on him). Would you believe that when I went to check out his car we both had the exact same boots on? Pretty freaky!! I guess it was all meant to be.

I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment with my new aquisition. Now if we could only get rid of all of this white stuff I could get over to Sean's and get those lovely Fikses put on, get some first hand driving tips and then enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

My wife(Jill) and I look forward to meeting everyon at Gananoque.

I know that Sean has been a vital part of this Canadian NSX community and I am sure he will continue to be involved. After all, from what I hear, the only reason you buy an NSX is so that you can hang out with this great bunch of NSXCC members.

Cheers,
DaveW

So Dave you have votes from Sean and Becky, but you dont yet from me, Stu, Arshad and a few others! Sean should have told you that without a majority vote from us, you can not buy his car.

I am voting NO!!!! But you seem like a great guy and you're in the PRIME family, so, well, maybe, ah hell, I vote YES!

Seriously, that is a great, great buy. You will love it.

This is going to be hillarious at Est Fest if Sean hasnt replaced the car with another NSX. You will be there, as will he in his 335 probably (what a fag) and you will be all king of the hill while Sean will probably be mistaken for a gawker. I wonder if the hotel is going to challenge him on the room? On the scenic drive I bet that he starts to cry. I know who isnt winning the show and shine! He will be just like anyone else staying at the hotel that weekend, unless.....

Dont just be another harrasser Sean. When Im driving my NSX and I see a 335 hovering, its always some hot hot hot chick trying to make eye contact. IT BETTER NOT BE YOU NEXT TIME!

I have still owned an NSX longer than you Dave! And by the way, the group reservations at the Gananoque Inn are under my name, so if I want anyone punted, I just nod and you're gone.

I hope I have a replacement car by the time Est Fest rolls around. Stu claimed dibs on flying down to where-ever to pick up my new ride. Truthfully I am as curious as anyone to see what I'll get.

I may not win the show and shine, but I guess I can be the impartial judge. Maybe Lucas and I will do the judging. And from what I hear, Lucas hates silly yellow cars.

PS. Black BMWs aren't gay. Pink Porsches, well that's another story.

Congrats on the sale!

I wanted to come see her on Saturday, but obviously the weather got the better of me, and today I was tied up with fay stuff. Bummer, I actually signed in to see if you were going to be available through the week.

C'est la vie. I guess when one door closes, another one will soon open.

Congrats Dave, and welcome aboard!!!

Excellent purchase.

Depending on what Sean buys, I'll be your closest partner in crime.
Actually even if he does stay true to the force, I'll still be closer to you.
I'm a 3 min drive south of Seans place.

Kaz - Sorry about the wheels. I knew from reading past threads that somebody had said that they wanted them if Sean didn't get another NSX to put them on. As you know they are a great improvement over the stock wheels and so it was a no-brainer, I just had to have them.

Sean - sorry about you missing out on the car. I also knew from past threads that you were interested in it and so I actually held off contacting Sean for a week or so to see whether or not you had decided to buy it. As you say, that means that there is another car out there somewhere with your name on it.

Ody - I definitely look forward to hooking up with you for a little cruising. My son lives in the Cherry Hill area and so I am up that way usually once a week or so.

Congrats on the purchase and for joining the small but proud Canadian NSX community.

Sean, I hope to see you in another NSX soon. Please don't wait long, you don't want to lose that lovin' feeling :)

BTW a GTR will not replace the feelgood experience of the nsx. A sledgehammer does not replace a scalpel.

Shite! Now that Sean is getting a new car - I want a new car too!!!!

I have to say since I saw Ron's Sliverstone with chromed wheels I've been hunkering for one - If anyone wants my Yellow I'm into making a deal! ;)

If you don't get another NSX I am cutting off all your benefits from Kentucky. No more moonshine, catfish sushi, no more feeling up my sister...err I mean wife and especially no more trips to Big Bone Lick Ky.

Tell Becky hello from Joe and MB.

Your sister was great, but when she said "You got to help me with this race horse." I got the hell out of there!

Seriously fly to Toronto. I'll take you to Est Fest, because it looks like I'll be driving something with 4 seats for a while.

I can't look a horse in the face anymore, after that night in the Canadian Embassy at XPO.
