Does anyone have a diy for hooking up the horn with the momo hub? Theres already a wire on the hub itself but I dont where it hooks up to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

This is just the same as wiring the horn for a momo in any airbag EG/DC/EK - you need to get the horn contact tab off a non airbag civic or integra etc. (or make one) then screw it on (there is a a spot that'll work) so it touches the contact ring on the momo hub and hook the horn wire from the car up to it, all in all it's pretty easy.

Type in "Momo Steering Wheel Installation" under Search and a few posts, under DIY, will appear which will outline the procedure. I started a post in January, 2010 wherein a Prime member attached a wiring scheme to use. I believe that there are some diagrams in the Dali Racing website as well.

I would guess that the wire attached to the hub is a ground wire. If so, should be attached to one of the connectors on the horn.

Im still a little confused. The wire thats in the hub goes to the back of the hub onto a brass contact ring. That ring doesn't touch anything...so how would you be able to close the circuit? Does the contact tab from a non airbag civic solve that?

I can't help you much except to sympathize as i couldn't find this well worn topic either. Our search engine is a POS! The wire goes to the horn button. I hope you have some sort of plunger setup as my kit didn't. That plunger would be connected to the wire that originally fed the cable reel that goes back to the horn relay. I had another hub that i liked better anyway so i used it.
