On the steering wheel horn contact it has three(3) slots in it. On the back side of the plastic button itself there are three(3) corresponding tabs. Are all of the tabs supposed to be the same height?
The one that is in the top right almost looks broken on mine but it is such a clean break I can't tell for sure.
Pics to follow.

Looks like the prong on the right side is broken ( the one above your ring finger.) The button is available separately for $39 something from dealer. I had mine broken but it was still hanging on to the plastic. I glued it back and reinforced it with epoxy in the back and it has been working like new. If you are crafty enough, the plastic end should be easily fabricated. Perhaps you can actually find that loose piece at the steering wheel side.

I had mine fall out the day I got my car - as I pulled into my carport! :(

Anyway, I fabricated a small ridge using a piece of plastic sheet (from a floppy disk, I think) and glued it on with modeler's cement. Pushed the button in and it has worked ever since (6 months or so).
