Hood hinge lubricant?......Any suggestions?

I've taken liberty to bypass a search as my connection is as fast as it would be taking a riding lawnmower to a track event.

I think the subject says it all. Mine are a bit squeaky and would like to use a lubricant that's compatible with aluminum and or paint. Thanks in advance.

I would use 3M dry silicone automotive spray. It is supposed to be safe for automotive surfaces. I would assume that would mean paint as well. At least that would be what I would use.
