I know the article says it's a 60 degree J series but the engine looks to me like a 90 degree configuration.
if it's 90 degrees perhaps it's the race version of the new NSX engine.
What angle do others see?
Hard to tell for sure. I must admit that it seems a little more open than 60 degrees. With the twin turbo set up going in on the NSX, is the short-stroke 90 degree C block that important/beneficial?
I'm thinking it would make sense for Honda to have one block for both the NSX engine and a racing version, rather than a 90 degree NSX block and a 60 degree racing block.
Normally racing engines make power at high rpm whether NA or FI but I guess time will tell.
A successful 90 degree racing version of the NSX engine would enhance the NSX as well as Honda.
