Honda takes own path on fuel, ecology issues

Go Honda...
I personally do not like CAFE or the concept behind it - but I also dislike most government mandated policies (minimum wage,ridiculously high taxes, etc..) This is supposed to be a free country - if the people vote with their wallets for higher mileage cars, guess what? The manufacturers will build them (the same goes for Safety, Top Speed, Emissions, etc..). Obviously people aren't that concerned about fuel mileage and it's not up to the government to tell us we should be! If we run low on fossil fuels (which we will not) then the price will go up, fewer people will drive low mileage cars, and the market(not the government) will come up with higher mileage vehicles and new fuel technologies.
