Faster yet more expensive.......
I doubt in the current economy unless they had tooling already ordered and the plant was ready/everything was paid for - that they build it right now. It is going to be brutal for even the best car companies to survive the next several years and this is the wrong image and the wrong car at the wrong time.
JMHO.
You may be right. However, I believe that cars in this price range are less affected by the ups and down of the economy.
Man is it just me or does it look a lot like the RSX?
Faster yet more expensive.......
So let's say it's 10K more than a GTR is that that big a deal? I'd rather have a V10 from Honda ( damn I just like typing that:biggrin: ) and they say it's going to be extreme??? Has Honda ever said that before? Drool.
So Hondas going extreme with the performance rather than just competitive like they did with the NSX. Good times ahead folks!
10K wouldn't be bad, but I have a feeling its going to be closer to 30K+ more then a GTR.
I think you are right - at least $30k more. The 2005 NSX was basically $100k, so adjusting for inflation to 2011, that is nearly $120k. My guess is that it will be at least $50k more than the GT-R.
If THAT is the new car.... all I care about is a possible motor swap into my NSX.

The question is, how much is a GTR going to be in 2011? And how much the Spec V is really going to be?
NSX went up about 5k per year in price since 1991 until 1997.
Don't be surprise if a base model GTR go for $90k when this car comes out.
Do you want a cow that weights 3800lbs or some thing much better built with aluminum chassis and NA power.
