Honda Meet, February 3rd, 2PM, SoCal

This is a repost from v6p, the meet is set for February 3rd, a Saturday, at 2PM... There should be a good turn out, I was invited by a friend of mine who owns a G35, it would be nice to have an nsx showing there... Distance is approx 30 minutes to Fountain Valley, 40 minutes to south Orange County (Irvine, Laguna)

Kick It! Find a hang out spot. Also TBA (Ideas: Infinity Arcade, Speed Zone, Downtown Disney? Compton? Inglewood? hhehe)

I'll be down in SoCal this weekend to pick up the car. Assuming it is ready, I plan on coming. Anyone else going? I think the mostly Honda crowd will want to see the only Honda to ever win USCC.

This is not going to be like a Honda Tech meet is it? Typically meets like this with young kids are lame to me when everyone is too proud to say hello and everyone is in their own little clicks. I use to go to a lot of so called mix meets and other types of meets and they ended up being the same way.

The only meets I have been to that people would say hi to eachother and be very friendly and talkative is of course nsx meets, s2000 meets and crystal cove or now PAG. I might drop by and check it out....hopefully it won't be another typical clicky kid meet. :rolleyes:
 
I have been to a handful of Honda meets (perhaps a dozen, over the years), and 90% of them are good... obviously non-nsx events involve meeting new people, but they're usually quite friendly, and very interested in the nsx.

fwiw, despite the flyer's mention of the Honda accord, this is a 'v6performance' meet, which would include the v6-powered nsx.

60+ cars, several nsx's, a caravan, etc. - sounds like fun ;)

a buddy of mine who owns an acura TL (silver) said he met or knew you from acurazine? anyways, he's coming down to PAG with me... thought i'd give a heads up!

That is based your experience....I am talking about based on my experiences.......the only way I was meeting some people from Honda Tech meets is because of a girl I knew there who introduced me to people there.......and I did meet some cool people when I hung out at her place.......but overall I find with a lot of these meets.....they are usually clicky due to the fact that they are a young crowd........well hopefully this meet will prove otherwise.........if not it will just re-enforce what I have been to in the past.......more kids, clicks, and people too proud to say hello and talk.

Cools..... Acurazine people are pretty cool for the most part also.......tell him I said hello........:smile:

yes i did make this meet through V6P :biggrin: but everyones invited like i said on the master forum (v6p) im organizing it at....
i just posted it up as a flier not as anything else....
