Honda @ Goodwood Festival of Speed

[Honda F1 Racing]

Honda's the main sponsor of this year's event which celebrates their 40 years of Grand Prix racing. They have a pretty impressive display of race cars and bikes. Anthony Davidson, test driver for BAR-Honda along with Gil de Ferran also did a demonstration run in a twin turbo LeMans NSX GT from 2004. Some pictures are up at:

Great pics, but it is of course no LeMans NSX. It's the car from the former JGTC that was modified and used for the 24 hours of Nuerburgring 'til last year. The LeMans GT 2 and GT 3 NSXs were used in the 90s and looked different.

My mistake! I was reading articles about the event and some said it was from the JGTC and some stated it was used elsewhere. I got a little confused!

 

[NSX-Racer]

No problem - I had the advantage to see this car in my rear view mirror (and shortly afterwards passing me) on the track of Spa-Francorchamps last year, so I won't forget about it. You may have already seen more pics of this car in it's early stage here .

BTW: Amazing what you can do with a Honda F1 car with rain tires on dry tarmac! Maybe next time in Indy all cars should use these, would be spectacular :biggrin:
