Honda CBR 600cc kart....

I was hanging out at my friends kart shop and these two guys were buying a new chassis for the kart they built. I saw this thing with a 4cyl 600cc 105hp engine rigged up and it was sick. They also had a video of them running it last night and it runs faster than a raped ape. They are now going to put the engine onto a better chassis which has a three rotor brake system and take it out on a track. It's amazing what two guys with an engine and kart lying around can build.

You don't want to buy one. The thing can barely turn and it's outright dangerous looking. The guy who built it did so because someone gave him the engine and he had nothig else better to do. When they get the next one built they are going to do a test run at Moroso, so I'll let you know how it runs at that time.

IINM, one of the admins on Honda-Tech has a 125cc shifter kart with a home built turbo. Don't know the specifics. I think it took the guy quite a while to build but it supposed to be pretty wicked.
