Any prime members presently using Genelec Active home theater speakers? Any good? Thinking of trying an active speaker system, I know Genelec is reasonably new in the home theater arena but their experience in studio speakers and speaker tech appeals to me.

Genelec is legendary in the studio monitor field, so I would expect that their home theater speakers would be pretty darn good. Best to give them a listen first, if you are able. Suggest you have a decibel meter, and audition speakers at @ 85DB, A weighted. This is where your ears will be most sensitive to the actual "sound" of a speaker, and not swayed by the intensity of "volume".
