Hockey tape replaces cloth tape around console

I upgraded my console recently and found that hockey tape was a good replacement for the anti-squeak Honda OEM tape.

Where is the tape used originally? (Not hockey, I mean where in the NSX did Honda use similar tape)

On the edges of basically all the hard plastic trim pieces to reduce squeaking.

This is a good tip - when I resprayed all my stuff I peeled the old stuff off, but never replaced it.

Brilliant Idea! I'll have to pick some up and re-wrap my console pieces since when I painted it, I took it off!

I once owned a 1998 Audi A4. There were two great days I owned that car... the day I bought it and the day I sold it! What a fkn money pit!
