if i remember correctly it was a Father and son deal kinda thing.

they will not let you take it to a dealer to do a PPI inspection

so that raises red flags there. you have to buy it then take it to the dealer " as-is all deals final " kinda thing.

I could be wrong, but i think you are refering to the GPW in Chicago.

Do you know when it was salvaged? That VIN# looks like one I drove many years ago and lost track of that had some significant issues.

It' a California car. Title issued 8/06/92.

8/25/04 mileage was reported to be 100,970. Thousand Oaks,Ca

5/7/08 mileage was reported to be 141,809.

9/26/08 total vehicle loss was reported, salvage title issued

10/13/09 junk title/certificate issued

2/10/11 mileage reported to be 67,612. California inspection station.

I lifted this info from a Carfax I ran on the car in early October.
