History was made at Infineon Raceway yesterday. The Dyson LMP 675 was not only on pole but led most laps and handled the Audi R8's with amazing ease. Read about it at:

The smaller Dyson Lola/MG's took advantage of the fact that Infineon is a momentum track with no long straighaways that huge HP cars can easily dominate. However, watching them dive into the turn 11 hairpin was unbelieveable. From the grandstands I looked straight across at the braking zone for T-11 but could not see the turn itself. The first time either of them passed an R8, I thought he had brake failure, the speed and timing difference was that dramatic. So everytime he had to do that, we held our breath wondering if he was into the tires. But he'd come by the start finish just a few seconds later with a 1/2 second lead on the R8. The crowd went wild. Made it look like Andrie passing Hrant.
Shameless plug: Since Infineon is the home track of NSXPO, what an opportunity to drive your "momentum" car on the king of the momentum tracks!!
