Anybody have a picture showing the light emitted from a 6000K HID kit? Im trying to get an idea of the color and brightness.

There are so much variation in camera exposure that it is simply not possible to compare color temps from pictures. Patrick really needs to look at the kits in real time. Sam's kit is not as white as the 6000k but still white. Sam can probably give Patrick a few installation tips.Malibu Rapper said:Try this link here.
This pictures are appropriately titled. This is the HID-ONLINE 6000k kit which is Phillips Ultinon bulb and ballast. I've heard reports of kits not looking the right color and would use Phillips as a good reference to what real 6000k looks like.

Even thou to the eyes the light appears brighter and whitier coming from your headlights. You will find that on the road that purplish / blueish light will just be absorbed into the darkness.
