I recently purchased a McCullough type HID system and am in the process of installing it. Installed the bulbs without any problems and now I am at the wiring part. Where exactly does the black and white wires coming from the ballast hook in to? I read all the previous posts on HID installatioin but still am not quite sure and don't want to mess anything up. Thanks.

On some kits the black & white are actually reversed!

Thanks for the help. What about when they supposed to be "plug n play" kits? Aren't the black and white wires supposed to connect with splicing or am I misunderstanding?

your kit should have plugs that go into the oem headlight plugs. these white and black wires go into this plug then to the oem plug. the white wire connect to the oem's black and the black to the oem's red.

be sure to check the aim after the install.

Guys, Thanks for all the great help. I did the wiring last night and all I have to do today is fire it up and see if all went well. I'll let you know. Thanks again.
