Hi, have a couple of questions about the NSX side air scoops.

Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions and I figured the best place to go is the source.

I'm am on a team working on a project car that is going to incorporate the NSX side air scoops to a 2000 Celica GTS.

We weren't going to do this originally but, someone hit the car with a grocery cart and scratched and dented the side. We saw another car who had done it and we figured why the hell not.

1. Is there any differences in the 97 or 98 side air scoops for the NSX?

2. Is Acura the best place to go if I'm am looking for these parts? They quoted me 192 and some change for one '97 Scoop. That doesn't seem like a bad price but, I'm always looking for the deal better than the best deal.

The '97 is the same as the '98.

You can get new ones at the dealer. If you want ones off a used NSX, you might try http://www.erzcar.com

Hey thanks guys you all have been extremely helpful. I found a pair from erzcar for 150.

I'm still contemplating if I want to go with thoes or the carbon fiber ones. I'm partically concered about weight but figuring that it is only a style change (no performance gains) I don't think it will matter much. I stop looking for the holy 10 sec. 1/4 miles years ago.
