Hi, First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Graeme and I've owned my NSX (92 NA1) for the past 10 years. I live in Scotland and have seen very few of these cars in the UK. The car is starting to suffer from a bit of gravel rash on the front bumper and I'm currently trying to remove it for painting. I've read a couple of articles and have a copy of the relevant page of the user manual.
The problem I am having is that I cannot identify the "SKIRT COVER" that the manual advises to remove. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Is it behind the recess under the direction indicators ? my car is fitted with front fog lights below the front indicators, is it behind the fog lamps ?

Thanks for your help

before bumper comes off follow this

open hood
remove the A/C condenser shield very small they cover one of the bolts for the bumper beam. both sides.
then remove turn/park indicator lights both.
then remove the both fender liner/ half way only need to move it enough to get you hand to get 3 of the bolts
remove the 1 bolt and 2 nuts each side.
then go under the car and remove the 1 bolt one is center of the radiator
then remove all 6 12mm bolts holding the front bumper beam to the car.
unbolt the radiator tops 2 bolts each side to free the radiator
unplug both horns, and sensor
lift the front bumper up, then reach down and unplug the washer motor, and pull off the washer hose put finger in hose. if you don't you will have washer fluid all over the ground where you are working.
lift the front bumper up to unlatch the bumper beam.
and pull forward to let the lower skirt away from the fenders as they will scratch the paint since they are raw aluminum
done.
