What is that thing that looks like it is the size of an alternator on the right rear quarter and has a bunch of what appears to be piping or cabling attached to it? On my 1994 there is nothing there but a vent flap for the trunk. What in the world is that thing on this 2005?

From photos on IAA listing: Driver's seat trashed, esp. left seat bolster. Mixed wheels (l versus r). Interior filthy - see top of strg column/wheel. Election sign in r pass footwell. Rear fascia gone, no R rear taillight ass'y. This NSX was NOT adequately protected through the insurance adjustment/settlement/auction process.
SAD Another 2005 down... but don't worry, if it's a clear title vehicle everything will buff right out. :redface:
I have no idea, the car doesn't look like it took a hit. According to autocheck report from January 2012 the car has clean history and and it was last registered and titled on 12/22/2011 in Denver, CO with 24,723 miles. I don't have any record of this car being exported to Canada.
