I'm a new NSX owner (just got it this weekend) and I love the car. 1994 with 48K miles. Great car and super clean. I have two problems that came up and one thing I've already learned is the guys on this forum have a wealth of knowledge on this stuff. If you could help me out I would seriously appreciate it.
The first problem is that when I crank the steering wheel all the way to the left or the right (as in when making a U turn) the SRS light comes on and goes off as I start to unwind the wheel. I asked the Acura dealer about it and they said it was a cable relay issue. They also quoted me $655 for parts and labor to fix it. OUCH!! Anyone else had this issue and how much did it cost you to resolve? $655 is a lot of money for a minor annoyance.
The second issue is that when the car is cold started in the mornings, as I turn the wheel to pull out of the driveway, there is this small buzzing noise. I'm not sure if its in the front or the back. It buzzes for about 3-5 seconds and then goes off and isn't heard from again till the next time I start the car in the mornings. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Again, I appreciate your assistance immensely. Thanks!
