Replacing the front or rear weather stripping on the Targa is a non trivial exercise (especially the front - just check the number of pages in the service manual dedicated to the replacement). If that is just a tear (no major missing pieces) I would be tempted to try and repair the tear in the weather strip using something like Loctite 406 which works well on rubber. There are other CA adhesives (I think 3M makes some) that work well for rubber repair. If there are small pieces missing in the weather strip SUGRU can be used to do small fill-ins. If you attempt the repair, I would also be inclined to recommend purchasing the weatherstrip to have it on hand in case the repair does not work out. In fact, as a Targa owner, at Amayama's price I might be inclined to purchase replacement front and rear weather strip just because they are a part that you cannot realistically have fabricated by a specialist and at some point they are no longer going to be available from Honda.
Yeah I was going to try the repair but wanted an OEM replacement just to have. That tear is the only real cosmetic issue with the car so it is annoying to look at every time I open the door.
