Alright I just bought my nsx and it has tein flexs on it. Problem is it is way to low to drive around town. I lifted the car up to check things out, I noticed that the springs are slightly loose on the the perch. Question is who much are these supposed to be preloaded or if there right how there are? im not trying to lift the car with the springs just simply trying to set the car up properly

The spring should not be loose. It seems that the previous owner lowered it by lowering the spring seat locks. Put the spring seat lock at the advised distance "= D-C" from the top of the shock body : http://www.tein.com/tech_info/inst/6a66u.pdf (p.5), and adjust the height with the lower bracket (which means you have to loosen the lower bolt).

Thanks for the response but that was not my question lol but the manual is nice. I had coil overs before just was after what kind of preload these wanted. i got it all done in my specs :)

thanks

All I do on my TEIN RE's is tighten the spring perch enough to keep the spring from rattling around... but u dont want it too tight..
