Help, swaybar rubs on 97 oem exhaust on 91

Interesting that I missed this thread. Earlier this year, I had the SOS sway bars installed on my 2000 NSX-T...and immediately I noticed the very same rattling you're describing from the rear bar. Upon closer inspection, you could see the rear bars were nearly resting against the bottom of the converter.

At first, this metallic rattling was infrequent and only noticeable when the engine idled at low RPMs or just as I started to apply the gas. Over the year, the noise became more constant and more pronounced. And you could definitely hear a clunk every time I went over a speed bump.

This month, I decided to have Jon Martin at Acura of South Bay try to craft a solution. He placed shims between the brackets and the car...just enough to provide a few millimeters of clearance. When I got my car back, I almost didn't recognize the sound of my engine...that's how pronounced the rattle had become.

Obviously, I'm much happier now. He said if the bars still make contact, he can swap them with a slighly thicker shim.
