Help! Stupid problem to have (Gas Cap)

Ok, I haven't driven my NSX in weeks, and got it out for a while over the weekend. Since we're supposed to get more snow, I decided to top off the tank and park it. Well, now I can't get the stupid gas cap off!

It just clicks in both directions. Before I go hack it apart and buy another one, does anyone have any less destructive ideas?

Hey try pushing IN when you turn it, otherwise a CAREFULl squeeze w channel locks, becareful, ALUMINIM, close by!! You should order a new one for sure ben

When I can't get a stubborn fastener off I just heat it with a torch! :biggrin:

Tried that, it doesn't seem to work pushing in or pulling out
