I got my set of Vinny's skirts in a couple of days ago and did some test fitments. While brackets and molding were supplied, a lack of instructions pretty much requires the buyer to figure out how these things go on.

For those of you that put a set on, can you offer any insightful information regarding getting these things on?

For example, I'm assuming I'm going to have to remove that lower intake trim that's under the OEM skirt, correct?

How and where do the brackets and trim pieces work?

Some of the mesh on the front (fake) vents needs to be removed, correct?

Seeing that there's a good chance that I may be in over my head on mounting the side skirts, I'm thinking I may need to get a body shop to install them. I was planning on having someone paint the parts and I would install them, but I'm starting to realize that I might be better served by having someone else do everything. :( Anyone have suggestions for a San Diego area shop that might be able to paint and install these if I go that route?

Fury what do a set of Vinny's skirts cost with shipping?

I bet it will look great.

I would call Vinny on Monday at (321) 453-6969 and he can give you the instructions and you should have been sent instructions with the Side Skirts.
I was hoping that there were some sort of instructions, especially in regards to all the brackets, but I couldn't find anything in the box. I guess I'll give him a call on Monday.

No, I'll have to figure that one too. Vinny mentioned that on the phone, but, not having the skirts at the time, I didn't really understand what he was talking about. He mentioned something about a gap there. Is that what you're talking about?

TL in the shop? I guess you're part of the club now. :( What year is your TL? Mine, being a 99, isn't included in any extra warranty coverage. :( I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.
