I got my set of Vinny's skirts in a couple of days ago and did some test fitments. While brackets and molding were supplied, a lack of instructions pretty much requires the buyer to figure out how these things go on.
For those of you that put a set on, can you offer any insightful information regarding getting these things on?
For example, I'm assuming I'm going to have to remove that lower intake trim that's under the OEM skirt, correct?
How and where do the brackets and trim pieces work?
Some of the mesh on the front (fake) vents needs to be removed, correct?
Seeing that there's a good chance that I may be in over my head on mounting the side skirts, I'm thinking I may need to get a body shop to install them. I was planning on having someone paint the parts and I would install them, but I'm starting to realize that I might be better served by having someone else do everything. Anyone have suggestions for a San Diego area shop that might be able to paint and install these if I go that route?
