Ok, So i bought this NSX a while back and it has a RM Racing 70HP NOS Kit on it, bit it was disconnected before I bought it to pass emissions. I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep it or pull it out and sell it.

Well i got bored the other night and decided to try and reconnect it. I got most of it done but I cant figure out where these wires connect:

If i trace the wires they look like they end up here:

What do these go to??? Am I just dumb and dont see it? Or do i need to pull the piece apart that attaches to the Bottle and put them on the wires there?

Here are some more pictures of the whole install if it helps. I have not installed the Cone filter yet.

Forgot to add that I do not have any instructions other than what I have found using Google. (Which isnt much)

Can't help, but i'm in before all the morons start yelling about the dangers of N2O.

actually.. looking at your photo... i don't see where in the engine bay those brown wires go.. are they spliced into the red wire?

And fwiw, those brown wires look amateur... i doubt the kit showed up like that..

It looks like it might be a "dry" NOS kit.. made by N.O.S. In that case, just get a set of install instructions for a dry N.O.S. single stage nitrous kit.

The thicker hose going into the Blue part of the NOS valve in the engine bay (Pictures 3 and 4 above) is the Fuel supply. The line going into the NOS valve before the Guage is the Nitrous line. I could be wrong, i frequently am, but I think that makes it a wet kit because its both fuel and nitrous.

Cant really see it too well, but in the 4th picture on the left side you can see the brown wires.

The two wires in your hands are brown. The ones that end at the fuel pressure safety switch appear to be red and black. Are they spliced somewhere along the line?

With the type of terminals connected to the ends, I would say those need to be grounded to the chassis. You would not use a connector like that if you were going to connect them to other wires. However, on second thought, those could be looking for power inside the fuse box.

I have this same setup in my car and it is basically a NOS 5115 dry system and NOT wet as mentioned above. Look at page 12 of this diagram and you will see the basic installation of this system. It should help guide you better. http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/A5130-SNOS.pdf

Take more pictures and ask more questions and I will do my best to help remotely.

Not sure if this helps. But the brown wires connect to this:

which is here if it helps:

And then run back over to the other side of the car and go here:

I removed the bottle from the trunk and looked around to see if i could find anywhere that they went, I even pulled apart the piece that goes over the bottle to see if it goes there, but no dice. Its an enclosed piece underneath so theres no way it went there...

advice? If i cant figure it out im just going to pull it all out and sell it.

Your OP asked about two brown wires in the trunk right? You then state that the wires go from the fuel pressure switch over to the connector behind the nos pressure gauge. Where do the wires go when they come out of the connector behind the gauge? Are they going into the trunk to the two wires you show in the OP, or do they connect to the solenoids? The only thing in the trunk that needs power is the bottle opener. Everything else is usually placed inside the engine compartment. Don"t give up on this as you are close. Send me a pm with a contact number and the best time to call. I think it will be easier than going back and forth here.

PM Sent

They do NOT go to the solenoids, they go from that connector back into the trunk. Do you think they are grounds? They dont look like they are, but its a possibility.

I also sent an email to the original owner to see if he remembers what they go to, i'm not expecting a response but its worth a shot.

The previous owner emailed me back and said that the wires in question went to a timer he designed to measure how many seconds of NOS he got per bottle. After i was told this i went over every inch of the wires and noticed a splice under the trunk carpeting. I then connected the system and everything works perfectly. I am going to remove this splice so i don't have any live wires hanging about, but everything is working fine now.

Thanks for all the help!
