Yeah, you don't hear anybody calling the Americans, Amers.... do you? Why call Japanese, Japs? Ahem....Actually, they call Australians, Aussies, British people, Brits, Polish people, Poles, Swedish people, Swedes and Canadian people Canucks among others and none of those are offensive so I think we all need to chill out; including the Japs.
