I'm thinking of bying a japanese performance car,
maybe a nsx,so naturally i'm interested in
right body kit for my future baby.
I saw one kit that i liked very much,
but i don't know who is makeing it.
I think it looks like a Marga Hils,
I saw a picture in JapanesePerformance magazine
(ch publications ltd.)and on top of the page
of hiperrev.com
It is a blue nsx,right next to supra on
the baner on top of the page.
does enybody knows who is making that kit???
I allso like the rear bumper on the Enrique
Thompsons nsx,from Panama,
who makes the bumper???

Actually, they call Australians, Aussies, British people, Brits, Polish people, Poles, Swedish people, Swedes and Canadian people Canucks among others and none of those are offensive so I think we all need to chill out; including the Japs.

I'm from Vojvodina(Serbia),
It is at least geograficly in Europa!?!

On the subject of the term Jap(s)...I think it is considered derogatory because its usage began during WWII, when the Allies were fighting the Axis (Germany and Japan, primarily). The term Jap is on the same level as calling a Vietnamese person a "gook", IMO. Nowadays, the derogatory term for Japanese people is Nips (as in Nippon).

Nonetheless, I think it's all a matter of convention, and knowing WHO is using the term and WHAT they intend to convey. In this case, our friend from Serbia is clearly NOT trying to offend Japanese people, as he has explained.

Hmm...anyone remember the old thread on the use of the term "rice"? <grin> And who ever thought a member of the grain food group could cause such controversy among automobile enthusiasts!
