Hi there,

I am here again to seek your kind help and advice.

I have a problem with my Acura NSX 1993, the problem is in the left hand side (driver side), the electrical (or mechanism lifting) controller which controling the up and down movement of the window glass has been out of work. I supposed that the electrical controller unit may need to replace or fix.

Would anyone please kindly advise how shall I do next (except finding replaced unit or fix in Taiwan as no one can do this here, NSX is very rare to see here in Taiwan).

If the unit need to buy new one or need to remove and send back for repairment and send back to me after fixing down, all the courier fee (delivery fee) will be in my own cost, I will afford it with no doubt.

Hope you can please help me in this regard.

Thank you all very much!!

Have a nice day!

Try the search, sounds like you need a set of window fix it thingies from Science of Speed and a good cleaning of tracks. Worst case scenario, a new window regulator(which I myself currently need)

Most 93's do not need this as the mod was already incorporated in '93's
Beside, it sounds more like this is an electrical as opposed to mechanical problem.
Can you confirm please JJNSX?
It appears from your description that the motor is not running - is window stuck in 'up' or 'down' position (or somewhere in between?)

Does the passenger window operate normally?

Check simple things first - fuse #50 (20A) in the fuse box under the hood is the one for the driver's side switch.

Yours sounds more like certainly an alignment & lubrication issue Tamoske.
With your '92, you should also check to see if the regulators have been replaced or these parts have been retrofit. Better to replace these for the insignificant cost vs having the originals break.

After trying to readjust and lubing the window system (thingies installed) - I have found the service manual which you can download here on prime to be very helpfull in this -
the windows would still slow down or stop halfway UP. Only after looking closer I found out that the windows themselves had been wrongly installed
on their 'bases'. You can try and loosen the two bolts in the bottom middle
attaching the window to the lifting system, let the window slide up and down
and have the system find the best position out of itself and then tighten the
two bolts (wrenching heads facing the inside of the car).
Do this after you have adjusted and secured the left and right rails.
Hope this can be of help to you.
