Gents ran into my first road block, on building up my new NSX-T. I had Volk LE28N 17x7.5 Offset +43 damaged on the front of '91 one wheel has slight bend in the lip and the other minor rash on the side. Sent them to AIM in Markham, basically said one is fixable, so buff out the scratches and reclear the one, but the other wheel not so lucky, they said not repairable due to the forged nature of the wheel, & if they tried to bend them would most likely result in breakage or weakening of the metal so they didn't even try. :frown:
Thought I'd just order a new one, or 2 new ones for the front. Well guess what the LE28N is discontinued so now I'm screwed (Big thanks to Rays for offering a wheel and a few years later your screwed if you need a new one). I figured out the CE28N is the same wheel but offered in different solid finishes maybe with polished options? So I'd have to buy a new one and refinish 3 or even the 4th new wheel to match, which I don't really want to do.
Anyone know of anywhere, or anyone, that can maybe try to fix the wheel, or get me a new or used one?
Thanks,
