hi, I spotted my oil leak a while ago. And I finnally got to take a pic of it. I was wondering where the leak is coming from?

P.S. *Don't mind the location of where the newspaper is because it got moved by the wind..*

I've got an oil leak too. :-(
Even putting it on the lift didn't help locate the source as there was too much dirty oil and gunk everywhere. The only way I could ID the leak was to spray 2 cans of engine degreaser from UNDER the car, let it set for a while then spray it all off with the garden hose connected to the outlet of the hot water heater spigot. Worked great and found the leaking spool valve after everything dried off. Also helped to verify that the oil pan gasket wasn't leaking so definitely worth the time to do it. Didn't nead to jack up the car to do it, just reached under everything while the car was parked in my driveway.

Try checking your cam plugs.

Gokwi,

The spool valve, cam plugs, and valve cover gaskets (third possibility for this leak) are all located on the cylinder head. About 12" or so ABOVE where your picture is. You need to look down in the engine compartment to see these three better.
