Hi there fellow prime members. It may seem like an odd request, but I'm hoping somebody on here might be able to help me find a particular late model truck.
My father in law is looking to buy a truck in the houston area in the next few weeks, and I've been volunteered to find a suitable truck. We're from way up north, but we want a clean truck that's never seen snow. He's they type to keep trucks for quite a long time, so I want to find him something in decent condition. An off lease would be perfect.
Here is what he wants me to help him find:
2004 Dodge Ram 2500
Must be Diesel /w Auto (the 5.9L Cummings)
Standard Cab (no crew cab, this has been the hardest part to find)
8ft box
Under 100K for mileage
We're trying to find something though the auto trader, but it's pretty hard to do from 1500 miles away. He wants to buy from dealer, not private. They seem to be in the $20,000 range, give or take a few grand.
If any of you guys happen to know of a dealer who might have that type of thing on the lot, any help is greatly appreciated! Even if it's just the names of a few reputable Dodge dealers in the Houston area, anything is a good start.
