Help fitting harness bar and harnesses

I decided to order a Route KS Harness bar for my car.

The pic advertised looks very similar to the I's harness bar.

The pic shows hooks on top of the bar to attatch the harnesses.

However, Bar arrived and it has no hooks for the harnesses.

Fortianatly i ordered the wrong harnesses and got the long ones.

So the harnesses will come out the back of the seats and could reach the floor.

How would i fix the harnesses in place? with the bar as advertised you would hook the harnesses onto the bar but i can't do that so do i take them to the foor? how do i attatch them to the floor or where ever i take them to?

Also fitting the bar itself looks pretty easy, two brackets and two bolts, do i need to cut the trim or should it fit withing the seat belt hole in the trim?

Anything else i need to know? or any tips etc?

I'm not familiar with this harness bar, but I do know that the bar is there to attach the harnesses to it. Attaching the harnesses to the floor precludes the use of the bar and is dangerous.

Is the harness bar from the same company that gave us this NSX?

This isn't what i'm not sure about.

Yes that is the same company Route KS and ZaZ.

I thought the harnesses were not affective and dangerous if they went straight down from the back of the seat or to the wrong angle.

However with the bar they will come straight out the back to the bar and then down so affectively not in the in correct angle.

I have emailed the supplier for support as i'm not sure what to do.

Is it only one cross bar or are there vertical members that tie into the seat mounts like the comptech system?

the shoulder belts should wrap around the bar at the hieght of you seat back..the lap belts are more problamatic..you will probably have to mount them into the rear seat mounts on the floor.

Chris if it is the same one as the one I had for sale on NSXCB ( Route KS ) you need to cut the panels. Is a shame you did not mention earlier as I sold my Route KS bar with a set of trimmed OEM panels. As for the lap belts I had Recaro seats with Bride seat rails that had attachements points, you can try the chave way and get a longer bolt and attach them to the rear seat point. You could also get a bracket as used in the TAKATA belts.

PS Don't the discount asking for advice on the UK forum.

Thanks for the info,

I have them fitted now and got some pics.

I used a 3 way bar in the end and worked a treat.

Sorry AR i had the Route KS bar on order for several months, possibly before you listed yours. I don't get the chance to come on the clubs as much as i would like, not signed on in a month or so. I will try get on more often.

Here are some pics.
