Help engine/targa holder issue

I just bought a new targa holder. At the time I had no use for it, I put my targa in the trunk and just wanted to reduce the weight. Now that im selling needed one. At the time the one I found the the texture felt like material is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. If anyone has any idea on how to go about this or has done it i really could use some help.
