Ive inherited a 1992 NSX in great condition. I recently started it and the temp. gauge instantly went to half way. I was told that this was an easy fix because 99.9% sure that it was the temperature sender.

ok, where is the actual temp sender, what does the piece look like and how hard is it really to change it.

Thanks in advance!

The sensor for the guage is shown on Page 23-136 of the service manual(1991-1996).

Do a search on service manual and you can find a dowload:).

when you say Half you mean about 4 on the gauge?

mine when starting cold goes to about 6-7 then goes down when it warms up to about 4. on the OIL temp. thats normal.

mine is a 1992 also

That is Oil Pressure in bar, not temp:)

I beleive we are talking about coolant temp. And if not, my bad, your description of the oil pressure gauge is correct:D:D
