Help, Brake lights staying on.

Hello,

5 minutes ago, I pull into work and notice my brake lights are stuck on. I went out, started the car, pumped the pedal, and nothing changed.

Anybody have any clues?

try jiggling the plunger on the switch where the arm for the brake pedal meets the plunger. maybe it needs a little cleaning & light lube

Fixed!!

Well, after a couple days of driving around and taking my battery terminal off everytime I stopped my car, I finally figured out what was wrong.

The brake light sensor works by noticing when the sping-loaded end in not pushed in. What happened was, there is a small plastic circle that presses into the brake pedal arm that is about a 1/4 inch thick. This part crumbled and kept the switch from being pressed in.

It was a $4 fix, by far the cheapest NSX repair I have ever had.
