Hi all,
I purchased a set of used 2002 Rear Brake Calipers which were missing the 2 brake pads, the 2 shims (inner and outer), and the pad spring (which usually clips into the top of the caliper on the inside where you rest the top of each brake pad onto). I called Ray at Carlisle Acura (a great guy) and it seems 2002 rear calipers do not need a Pad Spring? He looked into his diagrams and does not show that there is a pad spring. Just about all calipers I have seen require a pad spring in there. Can anyone advise on this? Or maybe if anyone has a 2002 factory service manual to confirm?
Thanks!
Will
