So I'm going to WGI this weekend and its gonna be c-c-cold.

Its the first time I'm tracking my new NSX with helmet and needing roof.

What do you guys do? (I'm 6 feet and my hair brushes the targa top a smidge when I lean left on a "normal" drive)

Is there a fast and painless (reversable) mod to get lower?
A better seat angle?
Lose the roof and be cold?

You might want to check out the lower seat padding Dali sells, SoS may have it also, or you can just scoot down in the seat

Put your helmet on tilt your seat back until you have clearance and then adjust it forward and back to make sure you can manage the pedals and wheel. It worked on my first time out without lowering the seat. Once you have a track day under your belt you can decide what other adjustments to make. The other thing that can be done is to remove the inner liner on your targa and then lock it on and you will have enough clearance.
Have a great time at WGI

How do you take the liner off/out?
Will I do any damage to it taking it off?
What tools do I need?

All you need is a screwdriver for a few pieces like the latches to lock the top. I used to do this before switching seat cushions. The front piece is held in by clips so you can lift that off just with your hands.

I'll be there with my white NSX next to my friends Z06, (white ford and a enclosed trailer) and a black E36 M3.
We'll have all the tools for help if you have difficulty locating Peter.

SWEEET!

Imagine, you go online in Toronto and get help at WGI - I love this Board!

Thanks guys, I'll look for you at the track! I'm driving a Yellow 03, I have red hair and glasses - if you see me first please yell (my real name is Stuart Sherman)

This actually solves two problems, I was worried I'd scratch/bang up the headliner with the helmets AND be uncomfortable. I'm anxious to learn the trick!

John, Peter, you guys going to the Newt for dinner? (I've been before and it is excellent - especially if you like cheese in your food)

I'm staying at Admiral Peabody's (my first time) in a two bedroom cottage* - it should be nice, supposed to be like a classier Senneca Lodge and its on the lake - I'm told.

My phone number is 416 258-8527.

I'm BYOI - (Instructor) Peter Hanson

Hi Red:
I'm leaving down state about 3:00PM. If I make the Watkins Glen area about 7:00 I might attend. if not I'll find you Saturday morning. I'll be there about 7:00AM.
Peter

Anyone want to do the HPDE with TracQuest this weekend(Oct 29-30)? My
friend signed up for it, but cannot go now due to work. He cannot get
a refund so is selling his spot for over 50% off. He would like to get
$250 for it. Let me know if you are interested.

Here is the info for the event.
