hello

Hi! Here is the official welcome kit. Depending on availability you may recieve either only just the star or smiley face sticker.

There are actually a few of us in Fremont. We get together every now and then on Friday nights and there's a monthly meet in Foster City too. Keep an eye out here for when we'll meet and I'll look forward to meeting you there.

Oh, and welcome.

J

Otto and I are meeting up at 5 at the Ohana Hawaiian BBQ spot off of Auto Mall. We're both taking our daily drivers (his daily is his NSX), but if anyone wants to meet up with us, come on by.

I didn't receive my offical welcome package. Who do I contact for correcting this error? Do I have to select the smile face now?

welcome. and since nobody else has mentioned it I will be the first. We demand pics and details on your NSX.

A buddy of mine bought this nsx from comptech about 2 years ago, fully built supercharger, headers, exhaust, stage3 clutch, tranny, ect., ect. he used it on the track and then decided to by a fully built track car. I had a 470hp sti and kept haveing motor problems, so i sold it and bought the comptech nsx. So far i decieded to change out the tan interior for black, and its almost done.

welcome to both of you!

hey speedy, is that the same comptech nsx that had the brooklands green body color before it was released in '94?

more pics please...

ya I guess, its a 93, brooklands green and had tan interior originally. And owned by comptech. you might know more about the car than me. I actually dont like the green. but when i told my buddy, that i bought it from, that i wanted to paint it. he told me people recognized the car, as the comptech nsx a lot when he was at the track. what do you know about the car?

Sorry it took so long to respond. I forgot where this thread was until now. I asked my buddy that worked at Comptech about it and he told me that can't be the Comptech NSX since it supposedly does not have a VIN number. I cannot confirm, however, it was apparently the first Brooklands Green NSX in America and custom painted by Honda in 93 to show the dealerships to gauge interest. Lucky for us, it was somewhat of a hit!

Can you confirm if there is a VIN?

And pics please

I've seen the car in person while it was still at Comptech, and can confirm that it does indeed have a VIN, and is factory original Brooklands Green paint.

I havent physically looked at the vin#, but when i registerd and insured the car, I know there was a vin# on all the paper work. And I do remember when my buddy bought the car from comptech. because i didnt understand why he was buying a green (which isnt my first choice) nsx when he had a beautiful fixed up 96 white nsx with a comptech supercharger. so unless comptech had another green with tan interior nsx, this is most likely the one.
