Hella switch quandry

I'm going to install some Hella micro DE fog lights and am in a quandry of switch placement. I would like to avoid the expense of $139 for the S.o.S. JDM switches, (very nice) and would like to not cut the interior or at least have switch placement that is unobtrusive. Not sure if the switch that comes with the hella's will do.

Any ideas?

There was a similar post to this just recently I believe

Check out your local Radio-shack or other electrical supply outlet for a rocker-switch to your liking.
Here's a selection for you to choose from:

A suggestion for mounting would be similar location to as shown in this picture below - the space adjacent either side of the gear shift pattern.
I would suggest using miniature rocker switches (like that on the right side of the pad) to drive relays rather than trying to switch all the current for the lights through the switches. Unfortunately Radio Shack doesn't have a mini rocker in their portfolio, but I'm sure you can find something in a good electronics mom n pop or audio alarm type store.

Thanks so much for the info. I think I'll shop around for the mini rocker switch idea. looks stock and won't break the wallet.

If you want the size of switch as in the picture, that is actually termed sub-miniature, maybe help in your search. Be sure to use relays - those switches won't handle enough current to drive the lamps directly. Makes wiring a lot easier though, only having to run small gauge wires between the console & the front compartment.

D'Ecosse-

Thank you so much for your great help!

It has saved me a lot of $
