So yea, when I turn the lights dial to "off" instead of the lights going down and flush with the hood like normal it goes down than back up as if it were on dim. Any ideas? Maybe the headlight retractor switch?

rookie mistakes, its ok! i had the same problem, except mine happened on my drive home from purchasing it my father was driving tho, i screamed at him telling him if he broke something he was screwed, lol, then we found the other button.

LOL! My dad was the one who told me I broke it! It's fun pointing fingers, haha.

I'd swear that you owned a Fiero if the headlights were stuck in the up position.

But if it is just the raise headlights button, the light won't "go down than(sig) back up as if it were on dim."
When the button is pressed, the lights stay UP regardless. Did I misunderstand you?

Flaminio, I nearly pissed myself laughing. We need more humor like that.
Full marks for that one.

I think that I am having the same problem. Just the other day when I turned on the headlights, the switch didn't "click" as it done hundreds of times before. It turned on with ease, but when I turned the switch to "off", the NOW loose switch just 'slightly' rolled forward and leaves the parking lights on. Can I remove the switch and 're-tighten' something internally or do I need to purchase a new one? My parking lights will not stay off unless I leave tape on the switch to prevent it from slightly rotating forward! Thanks!
