Headlight vertical aim adjustment

I tried to adjust the verticle aim of the headlight because the passenger side seems to be higher.

I read the manuel in the FAQ section, but it just does not seem to work. I stick a + type screw driver in the hole near the fender. I kept turning either directions but the aim does not change.

Any idea?

thanks.

In the on-line service manual on page 23-182, they show how to remove the headlight painted cover. It could be that the adjustment bolt/mechanism is frozen and once you remove the cover you can see what is happening. I have not had to do this, but it may be worth a try.

Keep in mind that when the headlights are properly adjusted, the passenger side should be slightly higher. The driver side is normally slightly lower in order to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

thanks. maybe that is reason. I can tell based on the projection on the road that the passenger side shines a bit further than the driver side. I wanted to make them the same, but maybe I just leave them alone as it is.
