I was wondering if someone could please explain how to adjust the headlights on my 94 NSX? I would like to make them shine a bit higher/further out.

Also, where are you guys installing your radar detectors? I have a Valentine 1 and want to install it with a power source that shuts off when the ignition is off.

Thanks everyone!!!

I did a search for adjusting the headlights and couldn't find anything.

Can anyone help with this?

Use the search function. There's a spare place to tap off in the interior fuse box. I used it for my Valentine One. The whole install took 15 minutes. Really easy.

I have the same problem with my 91 headlights. I overadjusted it and it actually broke. I stripped the plastic that holds the bolt. Be careful. Don't overtighten.

I looked inside the hole on both lights and there is no phillips screw for a phillips screwdriver to insert.

All I could see was what appeared to be a "dial" with a place (teeth kinda) to wedge a flat screw driver and then "flip" it up or down to rotate the "dial."

How can I remove the painted top cover so I can see under it?

Thanks everyone!

Remember there is two adjustment dial. The one on the top points the lights inward or outward. The one on the side adjust up and down.

That dial is where you insert a phillip screwdriver. You will have to try differnt size phillips to see the best one that fits. The teeths will match up the teeths of the philips screwdriver, much like how two gear wheels match up against each other.

VSY:

The only adjustment I saw is the unplugged hole on the side of the light facing the trunk.

Is there another adjustment point "on the top?" I don't know where that is.

Should I lossen the four screws (2 on each side) of each light before I try to adjust it??

I see know. You still haven't even removed the painted headlight covers.

You will have to remove those first. There is 4 philip screws (2 on each side) that hold on the covers. The outside fender side, you will have to use a small flat head or something sharp to remove the painted screw cover tabs.

Once you remove the 4 phillps screws you will be able to open the headlight covers. You might not be able to remove it completely because the bumper is in the way, but you don't need to. The you can look at what I was talking about before.

That helps alot. Thanks!
