Heading to any of the Bowl Games?

I'm flying to New Orleans tomorrow for the Sugar Bowl, which will be played on the 3rd. VaTech vs. Auburn..... should be fun.

With all the football fans on here, I figure there are more of us heading out to the bowls.

Btw, I loved watching Cal take their medicine last night If anything, it made the Orange Bowl more significant. Unfortunately, the BCS cartel members are probably patting themselves on their backs. :frown:

I sat last night on a flight next to a guy who was heading to the Fiesta Bowl. His uncle is the assistance head coach at Pittsburgh. The team is staying at the Fairmont resort in Scottsdale. Sounded like a lot of fun. I'll just be watching the bowl games from home probably.

I was planning on going to the Fiesta bowl with my sister and her husband, but that fell through. He used to play for Utah. I'd really love to go watch OU and USC play though! Go Sooners! :biggrin:

I should have posted earlier...... we had 4 extra tickets. Oops. My friend, who is the VT season ticket holder and biggest VT fan in the group, gave them away a few weeks ago. So it probably would not have made a difference. I'll try to get some good pictures for you though.

Should be a really good game. I have a feeling that Auburn will come away the victor. We'll see.

had tix to the rose bowl but i ended up selling them cause they were on michigans side. It was an awesome game on tv..im just waiting for the orange bowl...go SOONERS!!!!!!

i have 2 cousins that went to UT..went to visit them in austin the last couple years and downtown austin after a UT win is just straight cracking!! its craaaa-zy..so i root for the Horns unless theyre playing the Sooners..but gotta show the big XII some love as it is the hardest conference to play in. :wink:

The Big 12 is doing pretty good this year. Tech blowing away Cal, Texas edging Michgan, and the trifecta will be OU over USC. Too bad the Aggies were ghey(as usual).

Wrong !!! SEC All the way baby !!! Although we haven't done to well in the bowl games this year. It is common knowledge that year in year out the SEC is the toughest conference in the NCAA.
