Thanks for posting. I went to Hawaii for the first time recently (Maui) and I can't wait to go back.

I have some amazing sunset pics that I'll post once I upload them. I didn't want to leave. 80 degrees everyday, then I go back to the Maryland winter-wonderland. :frown:

Awesome pics. I am heading to Maui in Oct and hopefully i can get a snorkeling session in. Its awesome seeing those fish just swim so freely and not through a fish tank.

Great photos. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of when I lived in the Caribbean. I was in the water every weekend. Thanks again.

Great shots! You wouldn't have happened to bring home a Hawaiian Black Tang would you? LOL!

wow...beautiful pics..
planning a 1st time trip to Hawaii late this year also..

do u HAVE to know how to swim to go snorkeling? it would help a lot..but don't know if it's mandatory ??

Those are wonderful photos! Thank you for sharing. I've snorkeled on Maui and Kauai but never had water as clear as that or such a great assortment of fish. Please share the beach you were at. Also, what camera did you use? Was it an underwater camera?

We stopped at a small beach right on the main drag in Kona. I don't know the name of the park. It amazes me how many people are at this little place and how good the snorkeling is.
The camera is a Canon powershot D10. I got it because it's waterproof to 30ft and read some good reviews on it. I'm not really a photography person, so I all I did was put it on the underwater setting. Pics turned out pretty good for not knowing jack about cameras. haha.

Great...now you got me wanting to get back over there.

Thank you for the beautiful pictures, it brings back many memories.
I used to surf every day and snorkel if the waves were small.
Damn why the hell did I move to the middle of the desert!
