I was planning on meeting Ken to help him with his black box swap. Would you guys like to get together on Sat. Nov. 29th in Honolulu? I was thinking of brunch in town. Any suggestions on where to eat? Is Mariposa at Ala Moana still good?

Cheers,
-- Chris

Attendees:

1. Chris
2. Ken 2?
3. Deuce
4. Kingston
5. Chris K.

Aloha Chris,

How about we do a Sunday cruise (I may have to work on Saturday :D)?? I can probably get some of the guys together. PM me and I'll give you my contact#. BTW Mariposa's is still pretty good. "John Dominis" has a pretty good brunch spread, around $30 but lots of really good stuff. Let me know soon!!!

Sat or Sun would work if it's early enough. I work nights.

And golf Thursday mornings. So avoid that at all costs.

Hell, I don't even know anyone here. But there is a nice red NSX that sits at Ala Moana on the bottom level where employees park.

I'll definately try to make it out no matter what day it is. Saturday is UH football though. I'm going to the game so it would have to be on the early side. Sunday is pretty much open. Eitherway, I'll try to stop by if not just for a little while.

The question is, who is Ken? I know we haven't meet all the NSX owners, but I don't think any of us met Ken yet. It sounds like he has a Supercharger:D

Too bad all the goodies I ordered for my car wont come in time for the meet. My rims wont come in until January, the WW skirts probably wont be installed or painted, I have to tear apart my audio again since I just bought a matching Alpine surround proccessor. Oh, well, I guess everyone will just have to wait until the 04 car show season:D

Sunday seems like a better day all around, how about we shoot for Sunday at 10:30am? Should we hit up John Dominis? Ken's a new owner. He just bought his car from another NSXPrime member in Florida and is having it shipped over now.

Cheers,

Aloha All,

I just realized that Sunday the 30th is the annual "Toys for Tots" run. May be we can get together and do that run in the morning, then go to brunch/lunch. I'll start getting everyone together. I'll keep you posted!!!:D

Ok All here's the "411"..... I'm told that the Toys for Tots" caravan will leave Ala Moana Park at 10:00 am. We'll meet at Kakaako Park between 8:30am-9:00am. We'll then roll out to Ala Moana Park together, hang out, then go with the caravan. Don't forget to bring one new/unused toy for the drop off. We'll then grab a bite to eat (right now we're looking at John Dominis' brunch/ $31.95 all you can eat buffet). After brunch we'll do the cruise (we'll figure that part out during brunch). See ya!!!

Sounds good Deuce. Why don't we pick a time on Sunday to meet at John Dominis for people who will not be able to do the Toys for Tots run. Does 11:00-11:30 sound good? I can not remember if JD requires reservations. Do you know? I'll put a "attendee" list above.

Cheers,

11:30 am at JD's sounds like a plan. When I called JD's they said reservations were recommended however we could do a walk in. I'll have a final count by that morning but I'll make a tentative reservation today just incase.

So how many guys did we get? I know Steven Lee said he couldn't make it. I'm not sure about Deuce B. This is a good time to get to know and meet all the other NSX owners that we haven't meet before.

Thanks again for brunch guys. Have a happy holiday season.

Aloha,

Chris,

It's always good to meet NSX owners especially those who are as well respected in the community as you are and also a local boy. Welcome home:cool: Too bad it was such a crappy rainy day though.

From the left: Steven (Stevenlee) with a red 94, Chris (ChrisK) with a White 92. Sitting down from the left: Kingston (Deuce) with a White 94, Chris (Chris of Scinceofspeed.com), and in the red shirt is Stevens son. Sorry I forget his name. I'm sure Steven will post his name. The rest of the NSX owners much have chickened out since it was raining all day:p

It was a nice small luch spent talking about future prodects, a little forced induction and just getting to know the new faces.
